Introducing Denplan Care into the Practice
The level of integration of Denplan Care into a practice is entirely the dentist's decision. Experience has shown that the larger the number of patients registered with Denplan Care within a practice, the greater the effects of the benefits.

Denplan Care members always have the same point of contact: their Regional Team consisting of a Practice Consultant, Business Planning Co-ordinator and Practice Support Advisor. This team is responsible for developing a close relationship with the practice so although Denplan employs 260 people to support practices, dentists need only one point of contact. This means excellent customer service, which Denplan strives towards, is assured.

There are six steps to introducing Denplan Care into a practice.

	Initially, the Denplan Consultant helps the practice assess its potential.
	The Consultant will also help the practitioner assess and set their Denplan Care and private fee rates based on the desired income for the practice.
	Through the introductory training programme all members of the practice team are fully trained in their role of promoting Denplan Care within the practice including administration and day to day operation of Denplan Care.
	This is followed up by ongoing visits from the Consultant if necessary to ensure that all practice staff are ready for the conversion.
	Should the practice wish, Denplan will also help inform patients of the changes that are happening at the practice, by producing and posting a letter. In addition practices are provided with eye catching and informative promotional literature and merchandise. To further support those practices who have decided to convert their practice to Denplan Care there is the option of a specially trained Recruitment Advisor to work within the practice for up to 6 months to help register patients.
	Support from Denplan doesn't stop once practices have reached their patient targets. The emphasis may move from recruitment to practice development with access to a range of services promoting further quality development and post graduate education support, including discounts on courses.
