Denplan Care is the UK's leading independent dental health care plan and was founded in 1986 to provide a framework for ethical care whilst leaving dentists in control of their own practising circumstances. Joining Denplan Care allows dentists to combine high quality ethical care with predictable income and better cash flow, whilst removing the need to discuss the cost of routine care with their patients.

Denplan Care allows dentists to plan for their future financial security and practice investment, and provide a comprehensive dental and preventive care programme for their patients, without compromise.

Any dental practitioner may apply for membership of Denplan Care. Only the goodwill owning member may apply for patient registration facilities in order to register patients with Denplan Care. These patients may be treated by an associate or assistant with permission from the goodwill owner.

Upon joining Denplan Care members are committing to the Denplan Care Rules and Code of Practice. These are available from Denplan as are the Guidance notes and Conditions of Patient Registration. The Guidance notes outline a members involvement in the Denplan Practice Quality Programme which is an integral part of membership.
